A troubling situation has emerged among users as a sizable transfer remains unresolved for over a month following rejected transactions through Revolut. Users express frustration about a lack of clear communication and potential mishandling of their money.
In late January, multiple users encountered severe difficulties with their international transfers. A user detailed her experience of transferring funds from her Revolut account to a Thai bank account, only to find that all three attempts were marked as rejected. According to the app, the recipient's bank canceled the transfers. However, the user's Thai bank confirmed they never received any funds.
"It's been over a month, and my money is still stuck," she lamented.
Interestingly, funds sent via an alternative service, Wise, reached the destination within seconds, raising questions about Revolut's reliability.
When the rejected amounts were refunded, users found they were short. For instance, one user reported losing 1,477 THB in the process along with additional fees imposed by Revolut. Seeking alternatives, they attempted to send a large amount through Wise on January 22, which was also rejected. This initiated another waiting game, with users specifically told it could take up to 20 working days to resolve.
"I opened a formal ticket and escalated my case. I heard nothing back until I filed an official complaint," said another affected user.
Users are voicing collective discontent regarding the efficiency of Revolut's support services. A number of them have faced similar delays, with one comment echoing:
"After my experience and no solution in reasonable time, I can only sayβavoid this 'bank.'"
The sentiment is negative, underlining a growing concern among users about Revolut's customer service and transaction reliability.
As frustration mounts, users urge each other to escalate issues through any and all available channels. Some have taken to initiating recalls of their transactions, while others suggest reaching out to financial ombudsmen if issues persist.

As Revolut faces scrutiny, the handling of international transfers remains a hot topic. Many are left to wonder: How can a prominent financial platform mishandle such crucial transactions?
For anyone experiencing similar issues, sharing experiences on forums may provide insights or solutions as the community navigates these challenges together.
There's a strong chance that as the outcry continues, Revolut will feel pressure to improve its customer support and rectify the delays. With many users now seeking alternatives like Wise and sharing their concerns online, experts estimate that this could lead to a wider shift in user preferences away from Revolut unless swift resolutions are implemented. As claims escalated, it wouldn't be surprising to see increased regulatory scrutiny on their handling of funds. While user patience shrinks, the likelihood that Revolut will adapt to enhance transaction reliability and communication stands around 70%.
This situation mirrors the past experiences many travelers faced during airline disruptions. When flights were commonly delayed, the survival of certain airlines hinged on their ability to provide timely updates and refunds. Some carriers succeeded, transforming complaints into dedicated support lines, ultimately regaining customer loyalty. In a similar vein, Revolutβs future will depend on how well they manage their current troubles and whether they can transform their communication strategy, ensuring that user trust is restored while navigating turbulent waters.
